About Us
Bee Loved Care Homes started our journey in 2019. We managed to start the company and scale Covid all at one time! We are proud of where we have come and grateful for our team and clients wading the mucky waters with us! It hasn’t been easy, but it sure has been worth it.
How we began
We started this company as a family owned and operated venture–or should we say “adventure”–and we still are today.
We believed we could make a difference in the lives of those we serve and our employees.
We knew if we wanted to make a difference we needed to run it differently than other companies we all have worked for in the past. (In and out of this industry.)
We knew we needed to be a company that practiced what we preached. We don’t expect our employees to do something we aren’t willing to do.
That is why our owners are first and foremost Direct Support Professionals (DSP’s) and we will never be the kind of company that nobody knows who the owners are. We will never be so big that we don’t have our fingers in the pulse of the company.
One of our sayings is: We are owners that have our boots on the ground. Our boots may be muddy but they are all over this company and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Looking forward to the future of Bee Loved
Because our owners/managers and Direct Support Professionals (DSP’s) are hands-on and believe in working every aspect of Bee Loved, we will never grow so much we can’t have our fingers on the pulse of the company. We are proud of what we do and we never started this company to be hands-off! Therefore, while we want to continue to grow, we will be careful to ensure we are always able to give the best care to each and every person! We will never have 20 homes (we will likely land somewhere around 6-10) and we will always remain a smaller agency to ensure quality care.
We love our Bee Loved family and we do our best to show it. We have grown to about 40 employees and 5 homes and we are excited to see what the future holds.
While we know that no company is perfect, we strive to be the best we can. There is always room for improvement and growth. We are here for our team and the people we serve, constantly looking for ways to do things better. Being open to learning better ways to support is important to us. We lean on state and county agencies to help us as well as our memberships to a variety of associations to further our skills, knowledge, training and advocacy.
We have big aspirations for excellency!
This is Bee Loved!
